I think the FoxL with the sub is cleanest and best personal speaker system available. FoxL has a beautiful low end range. The sub adds that additional round bottom bass. It adds that low dinension that just explodes the the sound. Just awsone.

I also have a Dash 7, which I think is the best stand alone speaker. It sounds even greater with the sub., but I use it alone wnen I travel. It is snall, light and just has killer sound. Everyone that hears it wants one. At home I have the extra space and use the FoxL with the sub. Both the Dash 7 and the FoxL are excellent beyond belief. Add the sub to either – they both are just unbelievable.

I spend much time in front of a very high end dedicated two channel audio system, and that is the sound I crave. When portability is paramount, nothing compares to Soundmatters. I have two Duets for wired stereo, but in any configuration, if you pay attention to placement and avoid clipping, this is the closest you’ll get to a real stereo system listening experience.

I have used the FoxL Duet for a few months now and I really love it. It looks good on the shelf, connects to Bluetooth easily, and most importantly sounds great! It is about half the size of the Bose Soundlink Mini (but much more portable) and has comparable sound in the mid and high ranges. With the sub it delivers really crisp clear bass that rivals larger systems. It also fills large rooms very well.

Incidentally, the customer service is exceptional. I had a weird issue that ultimately was not a FoxL problem. A power strip I was using picked up radio signals, so I could hear one side of a conversation when a person was talking. A representative from the company was very responsive and worked with me to troubleshoot the issue. I’m very happy and would return to this brand for future speaker purchases.
